Lotus Education are holding a webinar on "Creating XPages Applications in IBM Lotus Notes 8.5.x" on April 28th 2010. Cost is $149 (plus tax) and is being run by two subject matter experts at IBM.
This session is for application developers who have some basic knowledge of XPages and want to build more expertise. After a brief recap of XPages basics, we'll walk through building a simple application from scratch using the core XPages building blocks and then extend it for real-world scenarios using advanced features. You'll learn more about data binding, custom controls, JavaScript APIs, Dojo, styling, theming and much more. We'll also look at XPages on the Notes client, see how to offline your web applications, take advantage of client platform features and participate in composite client applications. We'll finish with a glimpse of XPages future directions.
